Data security

Your customers’ data stays yours.

Handing over receivables means trusting someone with customer contacts, invoices and payment history. Here is how we handle that responsibility.

Access you control

We work inside your systems with a user account you create, with the permissions you choose. You can review or revoke access at any time.

Least privilege

We ask only for the access the scope requires (typically AR, customer and reporting functions) never admin rights we don’t need.

Multi-factor authentication

Our team uses multi-factor authentication wherever your systems and our tools support it, and a password manager for credentials.

Confidentiality in writing

Confidentiality obligations are part of our service agreement, and we are happy to sign your NDA before the first review.

No money handling

Your customers pay you directly. We never ask for card numbers, never hold funds and never need your online banking credentials.

Clean offboarding

When an engagement ends, access is removed and working files are returned or deleted, as agreed in the contract.

Our principles

We designed the way we work to keep your data in your systems and to minimize what leaves them:

  • Work where the data lives. Follow-up, notes and reporting are done in your accounting system or tools you approve, rather than copied into spreadsheets scattered across inboxes.
  • Collect the minimum. We only use the business contact and invoice information needed to get invoices paid.
  • Business data, not consumer data. We work on business-to-business receivables only.
  • Transparency. Every customer contact we make is logged and visible to you.

Sharing documents safely

Please don’t send invoices, aging reports or other sensitive financial information through our website contact form. After the first conversation, we agree on a secure way to share them, for example, read-only access to your accounting system or a shared folder you control.

Privacy laws

We handle personal information, such as the names and email addresses of your customers’ accounts payable contacts, in line with the privacy laws that apply to our clients, including Canada’s PIPEDA and, for clients in Quebec, Law 25. Where required, we can sign a data processing agreement that sets out how personal information is used, protected and deleted.

Read our privacy policy for how we handle information submitted through this website.
